The history of an "excellent" brand

Kia was founded in South Korea in 1944 under the name Kyungsung Precision Industry. Only a few years later, the name was changed and production of the Titan truck models began, thanks to which the company quickly celebrated great success. Even today, Titan is still used as a synonym for trucks of all kinds in the region. Another milestone in the company's history: the construction of the first petrol engine and the first diesel engine in Korea.

In 2006, the first vehicle model Cee d, developed exclusively for the European market, is presented and meets with great approval. Since then, the car manufacturer has not only delighted its customers, but has also repeatedly scored points in crash tests and design awards with its models.
