trovacerchi - The story
Two friends and a shared passion - this is how the story of trovacerchi begins. In 2003, German eTrade GmbH with the brand trovacerchi was founded in Meissen from the idea of selling rims to finance their studies. Even 20 years after it was founded by Uwe Krause and René Schmidt, the company is still run with the same care and reliability. The successful launch of trovacerchi into eBusiness and its subsequent establishment as the German market leader in the sale of rims and complete wheels has shown that this dedication pays off. Through innovative strength and visionary thinking, the two managing directors and their constantly growing team have succeeded in expanding trovacerchi year on year: today there are almost 100 employees who contribute to the company's success every day with commitment and creativity.

2009
With the launch of its internally developed website, the young, up-and-coming company soon becomes one of the most successful and well-known online stores in the industry.
2010
The development of the world's first wheel configurator begins. This unique large-scale project will take four years, but the work is worth it.
2011
The company is growing and needs space - 10,000 m² to be precise. To this end, the first logistics center is built in Meißen. This is where the huge range of rims and tires is stored, prepared according to customer requirements and then dispatched.
2012
In the automotive scene, people know trovacerchi and the fanbase is growing. It's time for a fashion label that meets the tastes of car enthusiasts and fashion-conscious young people: We proudly present FLGNTLT.
2014
The time has come: the 3D wheel configurator has been completed. At last, customers can find rims that fit their car perfectly and get an impression of how they will look on the vehicle thanks to the spatial view.
2015
trovacerchi is moving. Our new headquarters are being built in the heart of Dresden Neustadt - with enough space for all our creative minds.
2016
The trovacerchi family is growing. Over the years, localized stores in Austria (felgenoutlet.at), France (foire-aux-jantes.fr) and Spain (tiendadellantas.es), among others, go online as the European market develops. An international support service has also been set up to provide our customers with expert advice in numerous languages and help them with any questions they may have.
2018
Our specially developed wheel advisor now makes online purchasing at trovacerchi easier. In just a few steps, our customers are shown exactly the rims that fit their car and their wishes.
2019
Flying high
We can look back on an exciting and successful year. We have made promising progress with our Tiriga retailer store. We also record 2019 as the year with the highest turnover in the company's history to date. What we didn't know at the time: The following years would even surpass the previous record turnover.

2020 - newer, bigger, better The new wheel configurator Another project close to our hearts sees the light of day. After years of preparation and optimization, we are very proud to be able to offer an even easier and more pleasant shopping experience with our new, improved wheel configurator.

Time for a fresh look: the new trovacerchi logo In addition to technical improvements, numerous decisive changes in the store have made the shopping experience even more pleasant. Now we are also following suit visually. With the new trovacerchi logo, our appearance is more modern, more innovative and more compact.

Pioneer in the wheel industry: Our review platform We are proud to be the first to introduce a review platform in the wheel industry. Customers can now share their experiences with our products and service with other customers. This platform of transparency and open feedback helps us to continuously improve and helps our customers to find the best product for them.
2022
Bigger, higher, further: our new logistics center in Großschirma After almost 20 years, the time has come. We are leaving our "birthplace" of Meißen for good and taking the biggest step in the company's history towards the future: we are moving! Our new logistics center is being built in Großschirma. From now on, our rims and complete wheels will be prepared, packed and dispatched in a more modern and efficient way and close to the highway. From now on, they will reach our customers even faster and more safely.

The rim comparison: an innovation in the rim industry We are the first online store in our industry to introduce a wish list that allows our customers to compare several rim models based on various criteria such as size, color and price.
