My aim was to find an (a) 18-inch rim suitable for winter use and (b) ECE-approved for a VW Golf 8. In this area, the AEZ Montreal definitely stands out from most other rims. Very classy look and looks simply outstanding on the car. The rim is not the cheapest, but still a good value rim, as it is literally "worth the price". The only point of criticism is that the original VW hub caps do not fit and you therefore have to use the enclosed caps with the "AEZ" lettering. Although there is a suitable adapter, it only fits the VW covers (VW OE:) 1J0601171 XRW and 6C0601171 XQI, but NOT the 5H0 601 171 (these designations can be found on the back or inside of the original VW covers).
